First Date

Tonight Joel and I went on our first date since having Adrian. We've been away from him and Marsel, but not b/c he and I were going out to do something together. We got one of the girls from Adrian's school to watch them. We were out for about 3 1/2 hours. When we left we had no idea what we were gonna do. We just knew we wanted to spend time together and not spend a lot of money. So we decided getting dessert and maybe going to the beach.  Joel asked me if I wanted Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. I said let's do Miami b/c it's bigger and there's more to choose from. Ha! We drove for 2 hours! We went to Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, then to South Beach. We found more pizza places. We said we should just stop and get pizza. There were a few ice cream places, but they were all closed. I told him, I'm getting hungry, can we just stop some where. We ended up going to Burger King. How funny! We started out thinking sweets and the beach. No sweets and we couldn't do the beach b/c it was raining. So when we got back in the truck, I said ok, so this was our first date. Guess we need to start slow and ease back into it. It's been right around 6 months since we've done this. We have to practice. We laughed and he agreed with me. He said that maybe we could do this more often, maybe not every weekend, but once a month. Which is kinda a big for Joel to be ok with someone other than our Mom's watching the boys. Nevertheless, I had a really nice time with him. It was nice to just sit and talk to him.

 On another note: Adrian is getting his first tooth. Just notice it tonight before we headed out. I have some pictures to post, but I'll do that tomorrow.

 I'm working again at the new place. And I finally got my schedule. Not great hours, but whatever, hopefully I'll make money and it will all be worth it. (It will be.- Read The Secret awhile ago, time to start doing again! :) I'm rich! Hope someone has read  it and knows what I'm talking about.)
