He was posing for me.
2 years old.

Sorry about the turning of the camera. See how he totally disses me about the kiss.

Some pictures from baseball.

Marsel pitching. Usually he's the catcher.

Pine Wood Derby (Districts)

We went to the district Pine wood derby races. (This was the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places winner from the local packs getting together to race each other.) And Marsel got 2nd place over all. There were 17 cars total.
Receiving his trophy.

Adrian chillin with Dad.
Such a good boy.

Marsel's car is the green one, 2nd lane from the right.

Honor Roll Again

Marsel made the honor roll again this semester. We're so proud of him. Then we made him so mad at us. Joel and I both went to the assembly at school, which was at 9:30 in the morning. It was maybe half an hour long. When we were saying bye to him his asked if he could come home with, because he was allowed. He said other kids were doing. Joel and I looked around and we didn't see any kids leaving with their parents. Parents were leaving out the door and the classes were lining up to go back to their rooms. We said no, that he needed to stay, because it was so early and they were having a pretty big test the next day. At that he turned, got in the back of the line, wouldn't say I love you, good-bye or even look at us. He was so mad. We're so mean.

Sharing a Room.

A little over a month ago, we moved Adrian from his crib into his bed in Marsel's room. He's done very well with it. He can get in and out of bed, but doesn't roll out of it. And the funny thing is, when we lay him down, and he's crying he won't crawl out of bed. Even though he can.
This was right before we woke them up.
(These pictures were taken about a week before Adrian had his cast removed from his leg. All is good with that now.)
He actually woke up in a nice mood. That doesn't always happen.
Adrian is totally digging being in BB's room. He can now get to most of Marsel's toys.
We've actually since moved their beds around. We had to. They were playing and bugging each other. Adrian goes to bed an hour before Marsel and most of the time is already asleep by the time he gets in there. But there have been a few times that he wasn't or he woke up. Then they would start talking to each other. Adrian would tell Marsel to hand him certain toys. Joel and I were watching them on the baby monitor one night, and they both were so tired, but wouldn't give it up. Marsel was laying on his stomach with his feet up so Adrian, who was on his knees could tap the bottom of Marsel's feet. Like they were playing Patty Cake. So more than a few times we've had to tell Marsel to go to sleep in our bed and then we'll move him when they're both asleep. The first few times we did this, Adrian got mad! He would say, "No mommy. BB naanaa Adrian." Naanaa is what we say for going to bed. So what he was telling me was, Mom, BB is suppose to go to sleep in here with me. But seems to understand what's going on when Marsel goes to our room. I think they're funny together, how they get along. It's pretty cool with 6 1/2 years between them. Hoping they stay this close as they get older.
