Boy Watching...

My little turtle. He's doing the military crawl. He uses mainly his upper body, and every now and then he'll use his feet.

Marsel loves the camera.

Daddy was playing with him. You can kinda see his top teeth.

Big Bro and Lil Bro.

Told you he loves the camera.

Adrian playing with his toy Santa brought him.

Cindie's Christmas Cactus.

Trouble mid leap. He was all over the place when I was trying to take his picture.
Zeak's nose. He was trying to put his face in my lap. He needed some lovin.

There's Zeaky's face.

I'm doggie sitting. (Zeak and Trouble.) So here's a few of them. And I took a pic of the Xmas Cactus b/c Cindie and Robert are always gone when it blooms. I'm the one who gets to enjoy it.
Wanted to post a couple of pics. I have to go get ready for work.

Here's the one you like. I agree, it's a good one.

Xmas

Hope everyone had a nice Xmas. I was busy but nice. I worked until 3 on Xmas Eve. We had the fam over our house that night. There was 21 total. We had so much food. Too much actually. Not complaining though. Xmas morning we let the dogs wake up Marsel. They don't get to do that too often. Joel was in such a hurry to get him up. Then once he was up, Marsel wasn't opening the presents fast enough for Joel. Marsel told him a a few times, It's Xmas morning Dad, slow down. What's the rush. This coming from a 7 year old. I used to tear open everything. I couldn't do it fast enough! I would wake my parents up. And as I got older, it got earlier and earlier. Not Marsel, I think we've had to wake him up every year. Anyway, he had a good Xmas. Adrian too. Later, in the evening, we went to my mom's. Dinner was so good. We just chilled. It was very nice. Except I've been fighting a cold. I hoping the worst is over.

Burrrrrr...

Adrian and I went for a walk this morning. It was pretty cold. For Floridians that is. Plus it was windy. (I would say how cold it was, but all of the out of staters would laugh.) So Adrian had a reason to wear the hat that Connie gave him.

I was brushing my teeth while Adrian was playing. I went to check on him and this is what he looked like. Oreo had given him a few kisses.

Wishful thinking.

Marsel and Grandma checking out the fish.

Not sure which it is: Adrian trying to catch the marlin or is the marlin trying to catch Adrian. (Thought it looked like that b/c Adrian is the one w/ his mouth open.)

Poor Marsel.

This afternoon we took the boys to Bass Pro Shops and Outdoor World. They had free pics w/ Santa. While we were there we ate at Islamorada Fish Co. - So good. Marsel got a kick out of it. He was climbing in and out of the boats and tents. He looked at the fresh and salt water tanks they had. And they're HUGE!!!! He was on the ATVs. He got to play w/ remote controlled cars, play this shooting game. Picture w/ Santa came out good. Santa looked real too.
It was a good day. Sucks I have to go to work tomorrow. Bummer.

Looking at the picture...

As I look at the picture of our tree, I noticed it leaned a little. Oh well. :) It's a bit messy this year also. I really had to push myself to do it. But it was worth it. Joel said that when he and Marsel got home that night, Marsel was surprised that it was done. And he liked that I hung up his 2 ornaments that he made in school. Just wish I had been there to see him walk in.

Our Tree

Marsel hiding. You can't see him.

"The tree". It was the one and only we looked at. They spun it around for us and we both said ok. It was the fastest treeing buying we've ever done.

Our Pickle. We have one too, Freida.

All done. It only took me 3 days to do it.

Xmas Eve this year will be at our house. So little by little, I'm putting things out. I've been so busy though. I'm working at our neighbors house in the a.m. and p.m. I go over in the morning, and then again after Adrian is in bed. It doesn't make for a lot of time to do things around the house, but it is extra money. In fact, I need to get off the computer and go over there. Hoping to finish, so I can come home and clean a bit before I go to work.

Sam and Ryan. Looks like Rob Thomas from MatchBox 20 to me.

Sam trying to talk to Adrian, don't think he was listening.

Trey and Adrian.

Adrian trying ice cream for the 1st time. It was Cold Stone, he loved it. But it's ice cream and he's my son, how could he not!

What up?

Trouble biting his feet.

Flyin...

Hope every one had a nice Thanksgiving. Adrian, my mom and I went to Louisiana, to my aunt's house. We left last Saturday morning, early. And we just got back this Friday. Joel and Marsel didn't go b/c Marsel had his 1st boy scout camp out. They had a blast! They're having another one in Jan. So if the weather is good, I'll go. Yeah, I'm not a big camper.
So Adrian was a good flier. He only fussed when he got tired. And that wasn't bad. We chilled for most of the time. On Tues., my aunt wanted to take us to this nice restaurant in Texas, (don't live far from Texas). Adrian was having a rough day. He was hungry, but I couldn't get him to latch on. He just kept biting me. He already has 2 bottom teeth, that are like razors! And he only got worse after lunch when we got back into the car. That's when I saw it... another tooth. He's actually getting the 2 top ones. One was already through the skin, and now the other is too. As soon as we got back to the house and I put the orajel on, w/in 5 sec. he was fine. Just like the little old Adrian. Poor thing, not only was he in pain, but he has a slow mommy. The rest of the trip was good. Thanksgiving dinner was great. We ate outside b/c the weather was so nice. Actually it was warmer than what I was hoping for. I wanted a little bit of a change. And it was warm there. Probably warmer there than it was here. I wish that I had brought shorts.
I have some pictures that I'll post tomorrow. It's late, need to sleep. I forget what it's like to sleep. lol.

Baby Talk

A little talking going on.

Birthday Party

My brother-in-law on Marsel's bday present.
Such a dork.

Marsel opening is presents.

Isabell with Adrian.

Marsel, (yes, that's him.) and his cake.

I'm so behind. His party was last Saturday and I'm just now getting to this post. Better late than never. Everything went well. It was on the small side, which is sometimes better. Especially since it was at our house. He had a few friends over. Food was good, cake was good, and so was the ice cream. He got some cool stuff - it's all over the house. He got so much that he didn't know what to play with. They kept jumping from one thing to the next. He turned 7 and he's already talking about being 8. So funny.
I remember my 7th bday. I had a sleep over, and I think I was getting over being sick. My mom had made chicken noodle soup for me. And cousin, Tonja told my dad that I wasn't eating my worms. (The noodles.)

This was on the News the Other Night..

On the local news channel, they did a segment about a mother who had been kicked out of a doctor's office for breast feeding. Gimme me a break! She was in her doctor's office for a breast feeding problem.  And it was the doctor who told her she couldn't do that in there. He later denied saying anything.
Here's what the lawyer said regarding breast feeding in public: "In Florida, legally, a mother can breastfeed her baby anywhere and does not even have to cover theb breast if she chooses not to. She can breastfeed in a public place or a private building, as long as it's a place the mother is allowed to be, and if someone tries to stop you, call the police."

Maybe because I'm a breast feeding mother, this upsets me. Really- that's what boobies are for!
